The international baccalaureate (IB) program is very popular here in Barcelona as most of the international schools here offer it.
The class has a formula booklet so the students do not need to memorize the formulas, here is the formula booklet
The challenge with the formula booklet is that there are many formulas. The students often forget what each of the letters in the formula stands for and when they need to use that formula. Internal Assessment
However the students should not use the annotated formula booklet all of the time as they will become dependent on it. The students will need to memorize the letters of each formula before the IB exam in May.
Additionally the students will have to do an internal assessment (IA). This is often a lab where they conduct an experiment and need to measure the results and analyze the data. Most teachers recommend using another students IA from a previous year and reproducing the experiment, but making it better. This is the best way to do the IA as this way you will have a guide to follow and you can learn from the mistakes of the other student and make your IA better.
