IB economics tutors

This is a horrible message to send a student because it is saying to them “you do not have to take responsability for your own actions”.

All you have to do is blame someone else and then it is not your fault. But what we really want is a society in which all people take responsability for their own actions.

Who is responsable for my grades?

I am. Who is responsable for my happiness and well being?

I am. It would be wonderful to live in a society in which all members took responsability for their own actions. And I would like to hope that we are heading in that direction. But for this to happen we have to educate the youth, the future generations with these values.

IB Economics Tutors in Barcelona

We the tutors are like personal trainters.

We are a good tool and show the students which exercises they need to do.

But if they do not do the work they will not see any progress. It is like the person who goes to the gym and has a personal trainer. But then later in their free time does nothing and eats donouts, pizza and cheeseburgers. Of course they are not going to see any improvement in their health/physical appearance.

Because they have not done the work, they can not blame the personal trainers, the same way the students and the parents can not blame the school/tutors.

There is no substitute for hard work and dedication. If there is a student who wants to improve their grades they must dedicate more time and effort to their studies. Having classes with us tutors is good, but it is best if they dedicate time in their free time to working on their studies.

We the tutors and not Gods/magicians, we can not magically make the student get better grades, they are the ones that must do the work.
