Private Online Classes – Frequently Asked Questions for AE Teaching.
This post will talk about things that the families/students often ask us.
Where are the classes done?
The classes can be done in a number of locations. We can do the classes at your home if you live in the Barcelona city area. We do not have cars or motorcycles and we use only public transport so we can not travel out of the city of Barcelona as it would take us too much time in public transport to get there and back. Places outside the city like Sant Cugat, Castedefells, Sitges are just too far for us to go. But for those students who live outside of Barcelona we can do online classes or some of those students come into Barcelona to occasionally meet with the teacher.
The online classes also work very well. We have digital whiteboards so you will be able to see the equations as the teacher writes them in real time. Students keep your camera on 100% of the time. All camaras are on all the time so that we can see the students. Because we want to know if they are understanding and that they are taking notes. So for this reason we must have the camaras on 100% of the time.
- Some teachers have home offices where they do their classes. In general the teachers live in Eixample.
- Classes are also sometimes done in a nice quite public library or nice quiet cafe to be at a location that is good for the student and teacher.
- Many of the international schools here in Barcelona also let us in to do classes in the school. We have contracts with some of the international schools that allow us to do the classes in school.
