IB Math Tutors Private Classes
This post is part 1 and will talk about students who fail the IB exam.
Every year there are students who fail their IB exams and they have to take those in November. This can be very bad if they wanted to go to a competetive university and needed high scores. It could even be that the university does not allow them to attened and then they would have to go to another university or take a gap year. This unfortunately does happen to some students every year.
The good news is that this is completely avoidable. In March and April before the IB exams in May the schools should have finished with all of the content. Once you have learned all of the content then you need to start doing as many IB exams as possible. Do the IB past papers. Many of them can be found on the internet and or if you do class with us (AE Teaching) we have all of the past papers and can share them with you. Before the IB exams come the students need to be doing as many past papers as possible. Make sure to do them under timed conditions as well.

Make sure you have an experienced IB tutor like those here at AE Teaching Barcelona. We do online classes as well. Once you do the past paper, go through it and grade it and check the grade boundaries for that year to make sure you are getting the score that you need. There should never be any surprises as to the IB score that you get. This is because all IB students need to be doing and grading many IB exam past papers before they go and take the real thing.
