This post will continue to talk about why it is good to be flexible when you call us for classes. In the last post I talked about: We are English speaking teachers. We have teaching certificates. This is our profession and we do nothing else but teach students who go to international schools here in Barcelona. We have degrees in technical subjects. So, when you call for classes we have to fit your classes in with the ones that we already have. It is not really the best for the families to pick the exact day and time of their classes. We can do that. We can give you the exact day, time, and subject you want, but the classes may be of better quality if you are flexible. This is because we always recommend our best and most experienced teacher for the class given that their schedule matches with the family. So if a family calls us and says: “My student is available Monday through Friday anytime after 16h and on the weekends”. Then that is a lot of availability for us. In which case we the teachers can look at our schedules and pick the best, most experienced teacher.

There are no bad teachers in the group, we would never work with a teacher that is not experienced and does not get good reviews from the families. But there are some teachers who are more recommeneded by the families and who have been teaching longer. We always recommend those best teachers first. But only when their schedule matches the families. When a family calls and says: “I can only do classes on Tuesdays at 5:43pm” then that is very limiting availability.
