IB Schools in Barcelona – The TOK exhibition Part 1
I will talk about the International Baccalaureate (IB program) Theory of Knowledge (TOK) exhibition.
IB program students can get a maximum of 45 points. Three of those points come from the Extended Essay (EE), TOK, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Think of the TOK class as one IB point. One of the challenges of the IB program is that most of your points come from the exams you do in May of the second year. But what if you have a bad day/week when you are taking your exams? Something bad in your life happens and you struggle to focus. It can happen to anyone.
Therefore get as many points as possible through the EE, TOK, CAS and the internal assessments (IAs). Because these points you get before IB exams and you have lots of time to work hard on these and talk to teachers to make sure that you are going to get a good grade. So they can be guaranteed points.
The TOK is graded by to works that the students have to do: the exhibition which is 33% of their grade and the essay which is 66% of the grade.
